Being drawn to colour and form, Paula initially started training as an interior designer but went on to spend nearly 30 years in the IT industry designing and developing back office software for companies mining, producing and trading base metals.

Transformational coach and Reiki Master, after retiring from the IT world Paula completed a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy at the University of West London and undertook further training with the renowned Hypnotherapists, Ursula James, Phil Benjamin and Lorraine Flaherty.

In more recent times, she’s completed Level 2 practitioner training in Brain Working Recursive Therapy (BWRT©) with clinics in both Hypnotherapy and BWRT© in the UK, Andorra and online.

Working with the vibrational healing energies of crystals, Paula incorporates their healing properties into her unique jewellery designs.

An avid skier and part-time ski instructor, when not working, skiing or travelling, Paula enjoys pottering in her garden and watercolour painting. More recently (after two previous failed attempts) she elatedly acquired her open water PADI. She’s still on the fence about getting her bike licence...

The next species of tree she would like to converse with is the majestic Oaks.    If you have any questions you’d like her to ask or any Oaks you think merit inclusion, she’d like to hear from you.

Ultimately, Paula would like to combine her love of travel and trees by exploring and connecting with the more unusual trees around the world such as the Rainbow Eucalyptus or with trees that have their own special narrative. Similarly, she’d be interested to hear of any special trees you think should be on the ‘hit’ list.

According to her daughter she’s ‘not normal’ (and according to most others, to be fair).  She prefers to think of herself as ‘unique’…
